Davis Chamber of Commerce Selects Carrie Rohrbach as New Executive Director

The Davis Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of Carrie Rohrbach as its new executive director. Rohrbach, a Davis native, brings extensive local knowledge and a strong network of community connections to her new role. The selection of Rohrbach was made public through a press release issued by the Chamber.

According to the press release, Rohrbach’s appointment is expected to bring a fresh perspective and a renewed dedication to the local business community. Her strategic plans involve strengthening partnerships with the City of Davis and UC Davis, while also fostering closer relationships with Chamber members. Miriam Dougherty, the Board Chair of the Chamber, expressed excitement about Rohrbach’s vision and leadership, stating that it marks a new chapter for the organization.

The Davis Chamber of Commerce, an independent membership organization, aims to promote, support, and advocate for the economic vitality of its members and the overall quality of life in the community. Originally formed in 1905 as the Davisville Business Association, the Chamber played a crucial role in attracting the University Farm School, now known as UC Davis, to the area.
