Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura Promotes Cannabis Business at Big Dream Organics

Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura visited Big Dream Organics in Albert Lea to promote his new cannabis business, Jesse Ventura Farms. Ventura, known for his career as a professional wrestler and his tenure as the 38th governor of Minnesota, spoke about the benefits of cannabis and shared his personal experience with its use. His wife’s epilepsy was successfully treated with CBD drops, leading Ventura to advocate for the lift of marijuana prohibition.

Ventura’s new business venture, Jesse Ventura Farms, is a partnership with Retro Bakery, a cannabis company based in Columbia Heights. Currently, the focus of the business is on CBD gummies, with plans to develop a CBD-based protein drink for fitness enthusiasts. Ventura expressed his excitement about working with his son, Tyrel Ventura, and emphasized the importance of family in business.

During the event, Ventura also touched on various topics, including his friendship with Willie Nelson and his support for third-party politics. Following his speech, Ventura interacted with fans, signing memorabilia and taking photos.
