FRX Innovations Faces Delays in Filing Annual Financial Statements, Provides Updates on Audit Progress

FRX Innovations, a global manufacturing company specializing in environmentally sustainable flame-retardant products, has announced delays in filing its annual financial statements and accompanying management’s discussion and analysis for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2023. As a result, the company has been granted a management cease trade order (MCTO) by the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC).

Initially, the company was granted a two-week extension beyond the original sixty days to file the Annual Filings, with a deadline set for July 12, 2024. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the audit process has faced further delays. FRX Innovations assures stakeholders that it will provide updates as required.

During the MCTO, officers, directors, and other special relationship persons are in a blackout period, as advised by the company. FRX Innovations will comply with the alternative information guidelines set out in National Policy 12-203, which include issuing bi-weekly status reports via news releases until the Annual Filings are filed.

FRX Innovations is a leader in the flame-retardant plastics and additives market, offering a family of environmentally sustainable products that cater to various industries such as textiles, electronics, automotive, electric vehicles (EV), and medical devices. The company’s manufacturing facility, located in the chemical-producing cluster of the Port of Antwerp in Belgium, produces Nofia(R) products. These polyphosphonates are halogen and PFAS-free, manufactured using sustainable green chemistry principles.

With a team of highly experienced business and technical professionals, FRX Innovations is at the forefront of the ESG movement towards a greener future. The company has received numerous awards, including the EPA’s Environmental Merit Award, the Belgium Business Award for the Environment, and the Flanders Investment of the Year Award. It has also been recognized six times on the Global Cleantech 100 list.
