Kelso Technologies Announces Retirement of CEO James R. Bond and Appointment of Frank Busch as Interim CEO

Kelso Technologies Inc. (TSX: KLS), a leading product development company specializing in transportation applications, has announced the retirement of Mr. James R. Bond, the Chief Executive Officer and President of Kelso, effective as of the close of business on July 9, 2024. Mr. Bond has also elected to retire from his position as a director of the Company.

In light of these changes, Mr. Frank Busch, a director of the Company, has been appointed as interim Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Busch, who has been a director of Kelso since February 11, 2020, brings a wealth of experience in finance and leadership positions. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Manitoba, 5 certificates from the Canadian Securities Institute, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Finance from Harvard University. Mr. Busch is also a member of the Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Mr. Busch stated, “I look forward to this new challenge, and to meeting all Kelso employees and stakeholders. My immediate priority is to manage a smooth transition without disrupting existing operations.” Over the next few weeks, Mr. Busch will be reaching out to stakeholders and conducting a review of the company’s market outlook and strategic planning.
